Products Instructions of Powered Air Purifying Half Face Piece Dust Respirator
1. Purpose and Characteristic
The Xinhua powered air purifying half face piece dust respirator, which is applied to protect the person who works in the area of the floating tiny dust, cutting the stone, smashing the carving, the asbestos and lime dust, glass fiber dust.
The product’s components are face blank, the dust filter box (double), exhale valve, harness. The harness can be adjusted according to the users’ needs. The face blank is made from silicon rubber, and it is felt soft and comfortable.
2. Use and Maintenance
2.1 Before using, check all the parts of the half face piece are ready or not. If there is something leaky or broken, it should e changed.
2.2 When wearing the dust respirator, firstly, the harness should be adjusted, then the respirator should be kept straight, stayed close to the face, warped the mouth and nose, and the both sides of the bridge of the nose should not have the room.
2.3 Buckling the ring of the neck, and the harness of the half face piece should be fastened separately, and the half face piece should be adjusted tight, but not compressed the mouth and nose, and not leak out.
2.4 Inhalation tight-fitting test: don’t turn on the machine, just cover the air inlet door by hand, if the user can’t breathe, the respirator is worn already.
2.5 Change the filter material: when the filter pad is broken or full of dust, it should be changed. There are ten filter pads of one product.
2.5.1 How to change: open the box, get the brace of box、the old filter pad、the filter pad in the cover out, and then put the new filter pad in the box like the old one, put the brace back, finally, put the other filter pad in the cover. When installing the brace, the connecting wire of the power source should be put in the fillister of the brace. And when set up the cover, the body of the box and the fillister of cover need to be correctly together.
2.6 Charging: the battery charger is attached the pilot lamp and the battery in the dust filter box can be connected with the outboard line. When charging, plug the one aspect of the battery charger in the power source and the other aspect is plugged in the charging joint of the dust filter box, at the time the on- off switch must be turned on. Then the pilot lamp will be turn on, if the color is red that is charging, and if the color is green that is the charging finished. If the battery isn’t be used for one month, it should be protected by discharging and charging.
3. Notice
3.1 When install the filter box, it need to be twisted arranged the hour hand and fixed the cover.
3.2 The product matches the 2A nickel metal hydride battery.
3.3 The product is not suitable for using at the place where the quantity of the oxygen is lower than 18% (volume) in the air.
3.4 The product is not suitable for using during the working of the gas area, biochemical war, escaping from the fire.
3.5 If you want to obtain the best effect of protecting, you’d better wear the whole body protective clothing.
4. Maintenance
4.1 The product should be stored in the cool and dry place, and not contacted the organic solvent.
4.2 Storage life: 3 years.
